Scholarship information

The Krodle Foundation is a privately funded program established in 2014 whose mission includes awarding annual educational scholarships to high school seniors who are children of Dallas Fire Department members.

Scholarships will be awarded to those best personifying the moral, academic, and leadership qualities that Lt. Krodle exhibited throughout his life.

Review each application for their requirements. Applications must be postmarked no later than: 15 March 2024.

2024 Krodle Foundation Scholarship

The Lt. Todd Wesley Krodle Memorial Foundation is a privately funded, non-profit foundation established in 2014 whose mission includes awarding annual higher education scholarships to high school seniors who are children of Dallas Fire Department members. Scholarships will be awarded to those best personifying the moral, academic, and leadership qualities that Lt. Krodle exhibited throughout his life.

Krodle Foundation 2024 Troy Jestis, Jr. Public Service Career Scholarship

In 2024, the Krodle Foundation will award one scholarship to a high school senior planning to pursue a public service career in memory of Troy Jestis, Jr. Troy graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1993 and enlisted in the US Marine Corps where he honorably served his country. Troy was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and friend. This scholarship is funded in his memory by his loving sister, Jolynn Ledgerwood.
