What is the Krodle Foundation?

Founded in February 2014 by the family, crew, and close friends of Lt. Todd Krodle, the Krodle Foundation exists to honor and carry on Lt. Krodle's legacy by supporting Dallas fire fighters and their families.

The foundation awards scholarships annually to children of Dallas fire fighters, provides financial assistance to the families of members who have died or are injured in the line of duty, and assists with other needs within the department.

Lt. Krodle valued education and felt that it was a calling to be a help to other people. We believe the foundation should carry the legacy of Todd’s life forward by accomplishing what he felt was important - to help others.

The foundation strives to support those seeking higher education, to help those in need, and pay the acts of kindness and grace forward that so many offered his family following his death.

The Krodle Foundation is a 501 (c) (3), non-profit organization.
